Today I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding for Sarah and Stevie at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe. I met the couple earlier in the year for their pre-wedding shoot and live from St. Annes where we took a walk along the promenade and live jetty to discuss their wedding plans and ideas and just get to know one another so that on the day it was a much more relaxed and casual atmosphere.

The day started off at Holmes Mill with the bridal preparations with Sarah and her bridesmaids and mother all enjoying the preparations and a few sparkling drinks along the way to help calm the nerves.

Stevie arrived later in the morning with his groomsmen and father and headed straight to the bar for a quick refreshment before the ceremony and a few photos outside.

The ceremony got underway as Sarah walked down the aisle to meet Stevie who was patiently and nervously waiting for his lovely bride to come on join him at the altar.

After Sarah and Stevie had said their vows and exchanged their rings with laughter and tears throughout they signed the register and made their way down the aisle as husband and wife with their friends and family cheering and applauding as they exited the building.

We proceeded to go outside and take some group photos and do the confetti shot however today's confetti was made-up of bubbles which was a nice change to the traditional paper confetti that is usually thrown at weddings.

Following on from all the formal photos Sarah and Stevie went into the bar to join their guests for refreshments and canopy 's while socialising with friends and family they had not seen for some time.

In the afternoon it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches with laughter and tears and memories of those that were enabled to attend the wedding, an emotional speech that was received with laughter and tears by their wedding guests now it was time to eat and enjoy the rest of the evening with laughter and dancing with the cutting of the cake and the first dance the evening continued late into the night as the happy couple and their guests celebrated this fantastic wedding day.
