Today I photographed the wedding of Peter and Lorna at the Dunes hotel, situated on the beautiful coastline in Barrow in the Lake District. The weather was perfect, with blue skies and big fluffy white clouds.

It was only a small wedding with just close friends and family making up the guest list. The ceremony took place in a lovely well-lit room on the side of the hotel overlooking the grounds with nice yet simple decorations. 

Once the couple had said their vows and the ceremony was over we all made our way onto the lawn for drinks and canapes after the throwing of the confetti and celebrations, before proceeding to take the family and group photos with Peter and Lorna. 

We headed off down to the beach a short two-minute drive onto the dunes which look across the Bay and onto the mountains of the Lake District a perfect setting for a perfect wedding.
