The wedding of Hollie and Sophie was to take place at Plas Maenan, in the Conwy Valley.

With it being an early April wedding, the weather could be quite volatile, and we have no idea how the day is going to turn out. Fortunately for everyone, the sun shone, and we had a beautiful spring day wedding in this fantastic Welsh valley.

Sophie and Hollie began their wedding with bridal preparations at Plas Maenan, both in separate rooms, having their hair and makeup done as the clock counted down to the start of the wedding ceremony.

I arrived about an hour before the ceremony. I went up to each room to meet Sophie and Hollie and get some photos of them with their family before making their way separately down to the ceremony room, where they would meet each other for the beginning of their wedding.

With it being bright outside the sun shone through the windows and brought plenty of light into the ceremony room, which was decorated in a soft green sage.

Sophie and Hollie made their way down the aisle exchanged their wedding rings, and soon they were wife and wife.

Following this ceremony everyone made their way out to the front of Plas Maenan, for the confetti and group photos overlooking the Conway valley.

Once the formalities were out of the way, and all the group family photos were done, I went off for a walk with Sophie and Hollie to get some photos of just the two of them around this lovely wedding venue before heading in for the wedding breakfast and celebrations.

A fantastic day for everyone in this beautiful Welsh wedding venue.
