The wedding of Scott and Sinead at the lovely Singleton Lodge Country House hotel in Poulton-le-Fylde was just perfect, great weather great couple and wonderful guests.
The day started off with the bridal preparations at the hotel, photographing the dresses, shoes, flowers and other finer details of the bride's effects. The weather was just perfect for this wedding and I took the opportunity to do what I like doing best, being creative with the wedding dress, today I decided to hang it from the big tree in the hotel grounds a great feature of this lovely wedding venue.
It was soon time for the gents to arrive and grab some photos of the guys having a bit of a laugh as they do, in front of the hotel with a rather nervous looking groom. As the morning drew on it had now reached that all important time to say "I do"
Sinead looked amazing in her fishtail wedding dress, as she came down the stairs, a great opportunity to get some quick photos. The ceremony was now underway and well, it was full of love and laughter from both Scott and Sinead which made for some wonderful photos of the ceremony.
All done, and you are now husband and wife, let's get the confetti and group photos out of the way and let the celebrations begin. Once the formal photos were over with, we spent a short time with just Scott and Sinead taking some personal photos of the couple around the lovely grounds of love, fun and laughter for them to treasure and put around their family home.
Soon it was time for the speeches, and yep, they were great, with lots of laughter and tears, just the way you want them to be, full of personality and emotion.
The lovely couple and their guests surely did make this a wonderful wedding to photograph and be a part of, as a photographer you are with the couple and the guests the entire day so being able to fit in and be one of the guests so to speak so that you don't stand out really makes a huge difference to my working day, and the photos.
Right! onto the first dance and the cutting of the cake, yep you guessed it, a great show put on by the bride and groom with Scott showing us all, some of his classical dancing skills twirling his lovely wife around and taking her back in his arms was just fantastic.
Let the party begin.....
