For today's wedding, I was hired by Thomas and Siobhan for their wedding at the Portal Hotel in Cheshire.

The weather was fine with blue skies and fluffy white clouds a perfect day for this lovely wedding situated amongst him large and vast golf course with great views over the Cheshire countryside.

The morning started off with the bridal preparations at the hotel photographing Siobhan  and her bridesmaids and mother getting ready putting on their make up drinking champagne enjoying the build-up to the big day.

Soon it was time for the final preparations the putting on of the wedding dress the final touches up of the makeup and hair and some lovely natural light photos of the bride Siobhan was ready to make her way downstairs to greet Thomas her husband-to-be.

The ceremony room was very bright with harsh reflections coming off the floor and shining up to the bride and groom, this was a concern of mine but as the bride walked in the clouds came over and dulled the bright harsh light to provide some wonderful natural light photos of the wedding ceremony which could not have been timed more perfectly.

As the ceremony got underway there were nervous smiles and laughter as Thomas and Siobhan said their vows to one another whilst holding hands and looking into each other's eyes, as they exchange rings and became husband and wife the ceremony was complete time to celebrate with confetti and champagne as the couple made their way across to this reception room at the main hotel.

The wedding breakfast was now going to be served and everyone made their way into the reception room to sit down and enjoy the meal, while soon afterward the speeches got underway, before everyone made their way onto the dance floor before the cutting of the cake and the first dance, a fantastic day for a lovely couple at a wonderful location.
