This weekend I went along the Last Night of the Proms in Lytham, the atmosphere was great, with the likes of Michael Ball, HALLÉ Orchestra, Lesslet Garett, Tennors of Rock, Kerry Ellis and Rhydian Roberts, the music I have to say was amazing, and a great night was definitely had by all.
The latest wedding this Month was for Leann and Matt, the wedding took place at Festival House in Blackpool followed by the reception at the Pleasure Beach. The having the reception at the Pleasure Beach would not be complete without at least going on some rides. With a trip down to the Carousle and then a quick spin on the Big One.
My most recent wedding was for Karen and Juliette at the Carousel Hotel in Blackpool. The weather was lovely and their was a great atmosphere to the whole day. Photographing a wedding a for a lovely couple surrounded by great people is always such a pleasure and today was one of those days. Congratulations and I wish you both all the best for the future.
The latest photo shoot was for Michelle and Robert along st Annes beach, where we met up to discuss their wedding plans and what to expect from me as their photographer on the day. It was also a good way for them to get comfortable in front of the camera, having a stranger photograph you kissing and loving one another can be a bit awkward.
Last week I was hired to photograph a garden party for 6 hours at a home in Thornton. It was Georgia's 10 birthday and her parents decided to hire a photographer rather than going to the trouble to take their own. After Georgia's party the adult had their own get together and had a singer come along for the evening.
Last week I attended the wedding of David and Yvonne as their wedding photographer to capture their special day. The weather held and everyone looked very bright colourful, giving us a great opportunity to get some lovely outdoor photos. The day was a great success surrounded by a lovely group people.
Today I met up with Leann and Matthew for their pre wedding shoot at Festival House. We went down North pier and onto the beach before heading back to Festival House for photos on the balcony. The weather was glories a bit to sunny for a photographer really but we still managed to get some great shots, and a bit of colour in our cheeks from the sea breeze.
This weekend I had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Angie and Mike from Morecambe at the Lancaster Memorial, The day stared off wet at the memorial but finished to a lovely sunset and clear skies at the Midland Hotel in Morcambe. The wedding was a great success and great to be a part off. Angie and Mike are lovely couple and I wish them both the best for the future.
On Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting up with Yvonne & David from Garstang that are due to be married on the 3rd July this year. We sat down and discussed what I would be doing and how the wedding photographs would taken and where, after a short walk round and a few photos later the couple were both very happy and felt more comfortable with the photographic side of the day.
Today I met up with Angie and Mike from Morcambe for their pre wedding shoot at the Lancaster Memorial. With the rain looming we had no time to spare so heading off around the park and got some photos, explaining what to expect on the day and going over some of the shots we will be doing, putting them both at ease in front of the camera.
Today was the wedding of Hayley & Michael at Bartle Hall in Preston. The wedding was to be held at 11am so an early start for me with the bride and brides maids photos to do of them all getting ready from 9am. The day was a great success and I managed to get some great photos for them or the entire day.
Today I went back to Leighton Hall with Deborah and Jason to get their outdoor photographs taken today of their wedding day, as it rained on their wedding day back in March which prevented us from going outside and getting the photographs they wanted.
