Today I was photographing the wedding of Megan and Luke at the Clifton Arms Hotel in Lytham St Annes. The day started off with bridal preparations in the bridal suite at the Clifton Arms Hotel in a lovely large and well-lit room overlooking Lytham Green.

I started off photographing the wedding dress, the bouquet, wedding shoes, and jewelry, before settling in and photographing the more relaxed and fun photos of Megan and her bridesmaids enjoying the bridal preparations as they got ready for the big day ahead.

As Megan put on her wedding dress, I went downstairs into the foyer of the Clifton Arms Hotel to meet up with Luke the groom, and get some photos of him and his groomsman & best man outside the front of the hotel and take a couple of photos of the wedding rings that were in the safe keeping of his best man.

 Soon Megan was in her wedding dress and ready to be escorted downstairs by her father to meet the registrar for final preparations.

I made my way into the ceremony room and got set up, taking a couple of photos of Luke looking very anxious as he waited for his lovely bride to walk down the aisle.

Megan and her father entered the ceremony room at the Clifton Arms Hotel, as Luke watched her walk down, a couple of tears fell from his eyes with love and emotion as he watched his lovely bride walking down the aisle towards him.

It was a lovely ceremony with laughter and tears as the couple exchanged their vows, it was now time to celebrate with canapes & champagne, before heading outside for the confetti and group photos.

Shortly after it was time for the wedding breakfast begin the speeches getting underway before everyone settled down to a lovely wedding breakfast meal.

In the evening after the wedding breakfast and before the cutting of the cake in the first dance Megan and Luke and I went off down onto Lytham Green to take some photos of the lovely couple on this lovely summers day with blue sky and fluffy white clouds a perfect setting for wedding photography and Lytham.

On arrival back at the Clifton arms hotel it was time for the couple to cut their wedding cake and have their first dance and enjoy the rest of the evening celebrations on the dance floor with their friends and family.
