Today I photographed the wedding for Nikki and Kevin Cook at the lovely Low Wood Bay Hotel on the edge of lake Windermere in the Lake District.

The day started off with bridal preparations in one of the hotel bedrooms with Nikki and her mother, photographing the dress, the shoes and all the little bits that make up the bridal wear, soon enough it was time for Nikki to make her way through to the ceremonial room,  a long tall narrow room with a lovely window at the end beautifully decorated in the autumn colours of orange and browns.

The ceremony was just perfect a few moments of laughter love and happiness as Nikki and Kevin said their wedding vows and became husband and wife, surrounded by their friends, family and parents.

The rest of the day was spent in the hotel with a casual drinks reception after the ceremony and photos outside in front of the hotel before heading in for the wedding reception and speeches, and I lovely decorated room once again in the autumn colours and an elegant cake to match.
