Today I was hired by Emily & Neil to photograph their wedding day which was to take place at the Glasshouse at staining lodge in Lancashire.

The day started off with bridal preparations for Emily at the Queen's Hotel in Lytham, she had hired a room overlooking Lytham green for her and her bridesmaids to get ready for her special day, the weather outside was not ideal for any wedding with wind and rain steaming up the windows in the room.

however this did not deter from the celebrations and the fun and anticipation of the wedding to come, in the last hour of bridal preparations the bridesmaids made their way to the wedding venue, whilst Emily's mother helped her with the wedding dress and final preparations.

once Emily was ready I took a few photos of her in her wedding dress standing in front of the window overlooking Lytham green, before heading off to the glasshouse at Steyning to await her arrival and to photograph the guests socializing.

soon Emily arrived and the wedding got underway, as the couple said their wedding vows and exchanged their wedding rings the sun came out to lighten up the room to provide some wonderful photos of their wedding.

the day progressed as normal with photos of the bride and groom around the grounds, albeit very windy and cold but however making for some wonderful photographs of Emily's hair and dress blowing in the wind.

before I finished for the day I photographed the cutting of the cake and the first dance, as the happy couple danced together as husband and wife before they two headed off for an evening stroll around the grounds.
