On the 31st of July 2021, I was lucky enough to be hired by Matthew and Rachel to photograph their lovely wedding at Saint Lawrence his church followed by the ceremony at Garstang country hotel.

The day started off with the bridal preparations add Matthew and Rachael’s home in Fullwood near Preston, on arrival at their home I was greeted by Rachael and her two bridesmaids & the mother of the bride Karen, all having their hair and makeup done with a glass of bubbly.

Soon enough it was time to head off to the church for the wedding ceremony,  the bridesmaids heading off first followed by the bride and her father Joe in a lovely old Rolls Royce wedding car.

St Lawrence's church is situated on Garston Rd in Barton near Preston with its lovely long path leading up to the church with tall green conifers on either side, makes for the perfect entry for the bride and her father.

The ceremony was around 40 minutes long with a couple of hymns and a reading from one of Rachael’s friends.

The weather was holding on the rain stayed back long enough for us to get the lovely confetti shops down the path from the church to the road where the bride and groom got into their car and headed off to Garstang country hotel for the wedding reception.
