The wedding of Adam and Laura at the Hope Street hotel in Liverpool started off in the morning with the bridal preparations in one of the hotel's lovely bedrooms. The weather was set for rain the entire day so the light entering the room was quite flat but nice, making for some easy photography.

During the morning we ventured around the hotel and went up to the sixth floor to photograph the wedding dress overlooking Liverpool city center.

The time had now arrived for the wedding ceremony which was to be held on the lower floor of the hotel, with just enough light coming in off the street I found myself still needing to use flash to get the best shots possible. The registrars were great and more than accommodating for me to stand where I needed to photograph the lovely couple throughout the ceremony.

Due to the weather, we did the confetti throwing as the bride and groom walked out off the ceremony room to the bar and drinks reception area.

As the evening was drawing in fast we headed up to the top floor for some photos with the bride and groom and outside the front of the hotel before the wedding breakfast got underway. With speeches from the father of the bride, the groom, the best man and father of the groom, it was an emotional 20 minutes of laughter and tears throughout the room.

The evening party was now in full swing and everyone got up and celebrated the wedding with Adam and Laura as the live singer and DJ to get everyone dancing the night away until the small hours.
